Bovington is a thriving community which has grown up around the local Garrison. Once a much larger camp a great deal of the housing was sold off to private ownership. There are a variety of shops providing everyday items and a wider range of shopping is available close by in Wool where there is a butcher, general store, hardware store and chemist to mention a few.

Of particular note is the local Bovington First School which has had an 'Outstanding' grade in its last OFSTED report. The property is also within catchment for Purbeck School. Further shopping, education and leisure facilities are all within easy reach at the county town of Dorchester, The market town of Wareham, Poole and Bournemouth.

Bovington has excellent access to the local countryside for walking, cycling and horse riding on the many footpaths and bridleways surrounding the village. There are also some great pubs close by and communications are excellent with a mainline railway service to London Waterloo at Wool.

From the level crossing at Wool head towards Wareham and take the first exit left at the roundabout just after Wool Bridge. After a short distance turn left again and make your way into Bovington passing the Tank Museum on the right hand side. After Bovington First School turn left and follow the road down, into Andover Green and the property is on the right hand side.
